Grassroots community groups across the UK can apply for funding through the Happiness Fund, delivered by Laughology to support projects that improve wellbeing and strengthen local communities.
The fund aims to support community-led initiatives that promote mental health, wellbeing, inclusion, and skills development, helping create happier and more resilient neighbourhoods.
In 2026, a total of £20,000 is available, with two grants of £5,000 awarded in each funding cycle to grassroots, not-for-profit organisations delivering sustainable community projects.
Applications for the current funding round are open from 2 March to 27 March 2026, and projects should demonstrate how the activity could continue or attract further support in the future.
